Excellent / Poor copy - what does this mean?

MSWallack
I purchased a license for Fakin' The Funk and so far I'm impressed. However, I have one question. Some of the files that I've scanned show that they are "fake" but have a comment that says "Excellent copy". Other files are not fake but have a comment that says "Poor copy". Still other files have a comment of "3SIXCD007". Finally, many files have no comment at all. Can you please explain the meaning of these different entries in the Comment field?

A comment is just a comment someone applied to the file.
It does not mean anything - you could comment "The earth is flat" and it would be a valid comment...

You can inspect the spectrum yourself and finally, let your ears make a decision :) It it sounds good, then it is good :)

Hmm. That's weird because I stripped the comments before running FTF on the files.

maybe not all comment fields; id3 for instance does support quite some different comment tags...
